Choose a Conference Carefully

Seminars, webinars, teleseminars, summits, conferences…there are a lot of opportunities for you to learn and network. Some events are worth the investment because it is an opportunity for you to learn. Some events are worth the investment because it is an opportunity to grow your business.

According to Massimo Chieruzzi in his article, Startup Showcase vs. Industry Event: How to Decide Which to Attend, “There is no doubt these type of events have been incredibly beneficial to AdEspresso. However, we now believe it makes more sense to allocate our travel budget to specialized events to support the business in the long run.”

When you consider attending a conference, factor in:

*  Your budget and the cost of registration, travel, food, etc.

*  Networking and the opportunity to grow your business.

*  Education and the opportunity to expand your skill set.
