When was the last time you changed your password?
Since we are at the end of the first quarter in 2012, this is a good time to take a moment to update your passwords. Think of it as a spring-cleaning for your accounts.
Here is an easy formula for creating a secure password.
- Think of a sentence. For example, “Today chocolate is my favorite sweet treat”
- Use the first letter of each word. tcimfst
- Capitalize one of the letters. tciMfst
- This can be your foundation password, and then add a symbol and a different number for each account. A social media account could be tciMfst-1, an email account could be 2-tciMfst, etc.
