Congratulations to Marc Belaiche, C.A. and Toronto Jobs.ca on the success of the Toronto Entrepreneurs Conference.
The education sessions that were presented at the 2012 Toronto Entrepreneurs Conference were top-notch! I gained an insight to the financial industry, a new perspective on the impact of multi generations in the workplace and, of course I peeked into the social media world. Keynote speaker, Mark Breslin, founder of Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club, was quite motivational. My key takeaway from his speech was, as small business owners we are all on a journey; luck combined with opportunity and persistence can take any small business from start-up to success!
For the vendors, the Conference proved to be a great venue to showcase their products and services to the community.
As you know, for me, one of the highlights was being able to network with likeminded business owners! I crossed paths with people I had not seen in several years. They shared with me the new directions their businesses had taken and their new and enhanced product or service offerings. Normally, I do not have the opportunity to network with so many people who share a common ground, so it’s great when they all come together in one place!
In summary, the Toronto Entrepreneurs Conference was a good use of my time and provided great value!
